The Peacock Cup, a fundraiser for a local charity, announced this year's participants.

It was confirmed on 16th February that the Torfaen Tigers are heading to Glyndwr University, Wrexham, to compete in the Peacock Cup 2023.

The annual tournament is held in memory of the Wrexham toddler, Thomas, who died suddenly in 2018. Thomas went to bed and didn't wake up, just two days after his third birthday.

North Wales Crusaders player, and Thomas's uncle, Harry Jones, organises the event to raise much-needed funds for Hope House Children's Hospice.

The 2023 iteration of the tournament brings four teams together to compete for the cup - Torfaen Tigers, North Wales Crusaders, Sheffield Eagles and Rochdale Hornets.
