The start of the WRL Wheelchair Invitational League kicked off this weekend, with Tigers hosting the first fixture at home, and at guest venue Croesyceiliog School.
Unfortunately, a win wasn't to be had, but two good games against Crusader Celts, and last year's league winners, The Argonauts, were played out with the Tigers showing their stripes.
With tries from Leighton Morris, Luke Simmonds and Mathew Morris-Parker, the fixture was sadly lost to The Argonauts who fought off the Tigers well with their strong team.
Crusader Celts made their debut with their first game of the league as a second team from North Wales Crusaders, claiming a win over Torfaen Tigers, but also a loss against The Argonauts.
